Meet the Family

At Jeszacia Border Collies, we take great pride in our breeding program, carefully selecting dogs that represent the best qualities of the breed. Each of our breeding dogs has been chosen for their outstanding temperament, health, and adherence to the breed standard.

Our Border Collies are more than just breeding dogs – they are family. They live in a spacious, natural environment, where they are given the love, attention, and mental stimulation they need to thrive. We focus on producing calm, well-mannered, and highly intelligent dogs that make wonderful companions and excel in various roles, from family pets to performance and working dogs.

All our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health testing to ensure the puppies we produce are strong, healthy, and free from hereditary conditions.

Our Males

Our Males (Sires) 🐾

Our sires have been carefully selected for their exceptional genetics, temperament, and structure. These males bring strength, intelligence, and excellent lineage to our breeding program.

Koda

Chocolate / White

Koda is our playful young boy, full of fun and energy yet incredibly gentle and easygoing. He’s always attentive and absolutely adores cuddles—happiest when snuggled up by your side. We can’t wait to see him grow into the amazing dog he’s becoming!

Our handsome boy Blu is the perfect mix of affectionate and easygoing. He loves your company but isn’t demanding—always happy for a cuddle before settling nearby. Wherever you go, he’ll be your loyal shadow.

Moe is the perfect blend of his parents, Blu and Mocha—calm, affectionate, and always close by. Whether lounging by the back steps or ready to go on an adventure, he’s a relaxed and loyal companion who’s coming into his own beautifully.

Banjo

Black/White

Our big, fluffy boy Banjo is the definition of laid-back charm. With his solid build and gentle temperament, he’s always up for a play—whether with people, other dogs, or even the farm cat! His favorite spot? On his back, waiting for belly rubs.

Our Females (Dams) 🐾

Our females are gentle, well-mannered, and loving mothers who pass down their even temperament, strong genetics, and affectionate nature to their puppies.

Asha

Chocolate / White

Asha is pure joy—young, full of life, and impossible to resist. Even when she gets into puppy mischief, one look at her innocent eyes and playful “What’s up?” attitude melts your heart. Always by my side, she’s growing into an amazing girl.

Mocha

Chocolate Tri

Mocha is everyone’s favourite, with the same calm and placid nature as her mum. She loves to relax in her favourite spot, keeping an eye on everything, always ready for a walk, a play, or a cuddle. The definition of easygoing.

Yindi

Red / White

Yindi is my loyal shadow, always by my side—whether walking, gardening, or just relaxing. Her signature move? A charming high five with a head tilt. With her sweet nature and striking looks, everyone adores Yindi… and she knows it!

Splash

Black / White

Our special girl Splash is a direct descendant of our foundation girl, Jess, with a lineage tracing back to 1997. She’s an absolute dream—full of life, playful and outgoing, yet perfectly content to relax when the time comes. We adore our Splashes!

Maple

Blue Merle

Maple is our fun-loving, mischievous merle girl—always the life of the party! She loves a good play and isn’t afraid to add her own special touch with a fresh roll in horse or cow poo. Full of personality, we adore her cheeky charm!

Misty

Black Tri

Our sweet Misty is the definition of gentle and calm. She takes everything in her stride with effortless grace, always by your side, ready to share her love. A true pleasure to be around, Misty’s lineage has been part of our family since 2004.

Health & Genetic Testing

We are committed to breeding healthy, sound Border Collies. Every one of our breeding dogs undergoes thorough health screening and DNA testing to ensure the best possible genetic outcomes for their puppies.

✔️ DNA Tested – Screening for hereditary conditions such as Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Trapped Neutrophil Syndrome (TNS), Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL), and MDR1 sensitivity.

✔️ Hip & Elbow Scoring – All breeding dogs have PennHIP or ANKC-certified hip and elbow scores.

✔️ Routine Vet Checks – Regular veterinary care to maintain optimal health.

By following strict health protocols, we ensure that every Jeszacia puppy starts life with the best genetic foundation possible.

Temperament & Socialisation

One of the most important aspects of our breeding program is temperament. A well-bred Border Collie should be intelligent, loyal, calm, and responsive.

We focus on breeding even-tempered dogs that are suitable for families, companions, performance sports, and various working roles.

Each of our dogs is:

✔️ Socialised from an early age – Exposed to different environments, sounds, and people.

✔️ Well-mannered and responsive – Raised with positive reinforcement training and guidance.

✔️ Affectionate yet intelligent – Balancing the traditional working drive with a calm and adaptable nature.

These traits ensure that Jeszacia puppies grow into well-rounded, loving companions suited for a variety of homes.

Retired Dogs

Some of our beloved breeding dogs have retired from our program but remain part of our family. While they are no longer producing litters, they continue to enjoy a relaxed, happy life on our property or in loving forever homes.
